“I often give myself good advice but I seldom take it.” - Alice, Alice in Wonderland
In this series I take my version of Alice on a dark and wild ride into wonderland with the White Rabbit. I attempt to explore Hong Kong and the theatre of it’s nightlife as a kind of adult wonderland. A place where with enough money, you can have and do just about whatever you like, injecting a heightened sense of drama into the work reminiscent of the fantastical imagination of Alice. he rabbit mask has particular significance to the work as a symbol in both eastern and western cultures of frivolity, folly and a cunning and promiscuous nature.
